Raffle Drawing Tomorrow

Hi All –

I am riding another two-day bicycle event this weekend, raising money for more Katie Kits.  From your generous donations so far we have raised $1167.  Rode a two-day 180 mile ride in July and shooting for at least 150 this weekend.  Have 910 miles on the bike so far this year, all worth it for the chance to donate more Katie Kits to the radiation clinic.

From the July ride, a couple lucky sponsors won a pint of honey and some apple butter that I picked up at farmer’s markets along the route.  For the ride this weekend all previous sponsors will also have a chance to win a Frankenmuth Brewery t-shirt of your choice of size and color.  As well, one of you will get to choose the phrase on my bike billboard.  You can come up with your own phrase or select one that a writer friend helped me come up with.

If you haven’t donated yet and want to get in on the prizes, donation information is below.  I’ll be drawing the winners tomorrow (Wed) at 6:00pm.  If you want to mail a check, just let me know in the comments or email me and I will put your name in the drawing tomorrow.

We are looking at getting a different tote bag for the Katie Kits that has a bigger printed area with Katie’s artwork.  Might also get a couple different designs so the women can choose between them.  Here is one of Katie’s designs.

More details about Project Give-Back and Katie’s personal selection of products in her Katie Kits can be found on this page.

If you’d like to donate you can do so either online via PayPal, or mail me a check. Donations are not tax-deductible as we are not a non-profit at this stage.  All money goes directly to buying Katie Kits to donate to patients.

To donate online, click this button. (You don’t need a PayPal account to donate)

To donate by check:

Thank you for your support so far!  We are making a difference by providing some love to women undergoing cancer radiation treatment.

Much love,
Ashby
