July 13th is a tough day for sure. The Jewish tradition of Yahrzeit involves lighting a candle that burns for 24 hours, at sundown the evening before. Though any candles can be used (Yahrzeit candles are available at some grocery stores) and some folks light candles on the day being remembered.
