Tonight and tomorrow we light candles for the one and only Katie Kramer, as we remember her on the 11th anniversary of her passing. We still remember her jovial laugh and welcoming smile. And how she helped so many of us get through the tough spots in our lives. She advocated for so many individuals, work and personal, and always seemed to know what to say.
The artwork she made for her family and friends (in the gallery here) still gives us all a daily reminder of the incredible person she was. As part of her dealing with cancer she turned to art and then to making it for those in her life. Giving, generous, fair, loving, and so much more… She was always so full of love in her heart.
That’s just a start to all the great memories our dear Katie left with us all. And maybe an example to us to lead with that love in your heart. Made even more powerful as Katie through her interactions with us, is still in our hearts even now, cheering us on through struggle and joys. We have a secret weapon… we knew the infectious, amazing love of Katie Kramer. She said she was gonna watch over Nate and all of us. Our angel now, whose love is still warming us and assisting us.
