This evening marks the beginning of the Yahrzeit for Katie. This Jewish tradition of remembrance of a loved one’s passing, begins at sundown the evening before, and lasts through the day of.
So beginning this sundown, we light our candles for Katie and remember her love of others and life itself. For many, not a day goes by that Katie is not loved and missed, and she will always be in our heart. So these candles we light tonight and throughout the day honor you, Katie.
