There was a gathering of friends and family on Wednesday night at Katie’s for a bonfire on her back patio, after the Shiva ended, that lasted well into the night.
Tonight, one week after the evening of her passing, we had another bonfire, this time with kids and s’mores. There will be many more to come, both here and afar.
— Light a candle, or fire, anytime you are thinking of Katie – she loved chilling out with a good, mellow fire, but also having friends over to enjoy the warmth with her. If you’d like to share a photo with us of your candle or fire…. TheLifeOfKatieK@gmail.com
Thinking tonight of you, Katie. Miss you.

Wish I could’ve brought my little guy and been there. What a nice idea.
Wish I could have been there …feelin’ the glow from afar.
We knew you were all there in spirit with us thinking of Katie. So nice to see you both and catch up a little when you were here. I don’t know about you, but some days are still tough not having Katie to talk with.
